While having lunch we were discussing about a colleague’s wife recent visit to Shanghai ...she had visited a very good science museum there. This brought us to the topic of Museums in India and there plight and the interest of public in it. Normally its very good for kids because they learn fast from these kind of visits….and are the most benefited. As such schools do organize visits but this is for the general information of parents that I did a surfing ....they might like to visit with the family this weekend..
The term 'museum' literally means “a spot dedicated to the muses”. It was deemed to be a place where a person could attain aloofness above the humdrum affairs of life. An important branch of the museums are the science museums. Science museums can be literally defined as museums devoted to science. Science museums concentrate mainly on display of things related to geology, paleontology, industry and industrial development. However in recent times Science museums put more stress on showcasing the technological developments made by man. Thus the purview of the Science museums have broadened in recent times. India has a gamut of museums dedicated to science or industrial development.
A museum visit will make Science much more interesting for a kid than just reading about atoms, volcano, and earth simply in a book. Turn science into a thrilling learning experience for your loved ones ….

Its a good topic to be discussed in your bolg....
really museums can make science easier to understand the functioning of things in 3-D format , and I think parents should certainly think from their children prospective to make the things more clear , informative, simpler and innovative by taking them to museums or asking them to go to museum.....great!!!!!
